Well summer has finally arrived and i feel the need to create everyday. I love the longer days. It makes me feel like I have so much more time to work on my creations. I want to get up before the sun and greet her arrival, and yet, I love when the moon appears and bathes the night in her soft glow.
I have been quiet busy exhibiting at Galop Gallery in June and participating in Art in the City show. Both were wonderful experiences. It was the first time I have exhibited at Galop Gallery. It is a charming gallery, full of energy. Art in the City Brockville was like Old Home Week. I got to visit with so many folks that I have not seen in so long. The art was outstanding and the artists were so interesting to talk with.
My next show is the Women's Art Festival in Kingston on August 16th. So for now, there is time for more painting, more time for early morning walks and time for days that seem to last for ever.
